1930s - 40s Silk Feel Rayon Nightdress

late 30's early 40s American nightdress, in Rayon, but is quality is such that it feels like silk. Its so Hollywood, the nightdress is designed to swirl at the base, very 30's.
The label says Juliana, lingerie of quality, rayon fibre.

This would fit a small 10 or smaller frame. It just went onto the mannequin, but the lace is delicate, more so than the rayon which seems very sound. The lace needs restitching to the main garment in one place at the front.
I have left this for the buyer as it only fair to sell as it is, not reconditioned.
This is a fantastic piece of fashion history and should be worn occasionally with care.
